Invitation to ALL EUROPEAN MIDWIVES with a DOCTORAL degree (PhD etc) to
participate in a survey about their study and work experiences
Are you:
Educated and trained as a midwife in an European country?, and…
Studied and obtained a doctoral degree (PhD, Dr. rer.nat. etc) in this country or abroad?
Then we need your voice to tell us about your experiences with your study, and with your work after obtaining your doctoral degree. The survey is open until 1st December.
Please click the link (or: https://vub.fra1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_ePOGptle0B5tGNo) to start the survey.
The survey will take about 15- 20 minutes to complete.
We already received answers from 75 midwives holding a doctoral degree, but we believe there are more, and aim for at least 200 participating midwives.
Please also share the details of this research with your colleagues
At the end of the survey, you will find an invitation:
To participate in an interview as part of a follow-up study, and
To participate in the creation of a European network of midwives with a doctoral degree.
In particular, we also want reach out to colleagues who are retired, moved abroad to other countries, not working in the universities or left the profession of midwifery.
Could you please forward this mail to them, if you know such a colleague?
Please find below the full information.
If you have further questions or if you have any difficulties about the survey,
please contact Joeri Vermeulen (joris.vermeulen@vub.be or +32/475.55.74.68).
