Full membership of the Society is available to all registered, certified or licenced midwives, nurse-midwives or obstetric nurses, doctors or allied health professionals from within higher education and practice development who hold a doctoral degree or are currently studying towards a doctoral degree from any institution worldwide.

Associate membership is available to those not included in the full membership grouping and have a strong interest in the aims of the DMRS

Affiliated membership is also available to women's groups and charitable organisations
