Membership

Full membership of the Society is available to all registered, certified or licenced midwives, nurse-midwives or obstetric nurses from within higher education and practice development who hold a doctoral degree or are currently studying towards a doctoral degree. Full membership entitles individuals to a fee discount to the annual DMRS conference.

Associate membership is available to all midwives, medical colleagues, dentists, pharmacists, physiotherapists, social workers, epidemiologists, occupational therapists and other allied health professionals. Research supervisors are also welcome. Associated membership entitles members to access all materials on the web site and email alerts/news updates.

Affiliated membership and attendance is open to all health professional and public groups with an expressed interest in the area of activity. Voluntary service members are particularly welcome. Affiliated membership provides networking opportunities and access to dissemination outputs.

In the first instance membership is free but this will be subject to review.
