Last year we awarded 31 Research Scholarships from over 60 applications. This was a bumper year and we have more funds available to continue to increase the numbers offered. This is your chance to make a difference through research to improve clinical care.

The Research Scholarships award funds to undertake a course in research methods, research modules or a dissertation/thesis as part of an academic course of study. The Foundation will also consider doctoral studies and post doctoral research projects. The outcome of the research should result in clinical improvement and evidence-based care for patients and clients.

The Foundation is a living memorial to Florence Nightingale; it advances the study of nursing and promotes excellence in nursing and midwifery practice.
